2.Bookings & deposits
- A 50% deposit secures your booking. The balance is paid in person on the night, or before the event if we agree that with you.
- When you reserve online we hold your date for 48 hours while your deposit arrives. If we haven't received it in that time, we may release the date.
- The date and time you choose is a request until our team confirms it. We aim to confirmwithin 24 hours. If your slot isn't available we'll offer the nearest available time, another date, entertainment at your own venue, or a full refund.
- Please give us accurate details: date, venue, group size, the occasion and who the guest of honour is. Entertainers are booked based on this information.
- Private shows and hens bookings at our Mount Maunganui venue run before the club opens to the public at 8pm.
- All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Package prices cover the packages and entertainment only. Club entry is charged separately at the door ($25 per person, or half price for pre-booked stag and hens parties with the stag or hen free). Drinks are not included.
- We may update our prices from time to time. Once your deposit is paid, the price of your booking won't change unless you change the booking.
3.Payments
- Deposits can be paid by bank transfer to the account shown when you reserve. Please use the payment reference we give you (your surname and event date) so we can match your payment.
- Where card payment is offered online, it is processed by a secure third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- The balance can be paid on the night by cash or EFTPOS/card.
- If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us first and we'll sort it out quickly.
4.Cancellations & refunds
We book and confirm entertainers specifically for your event, and they turn away other work to be there. That is why late cancellations are charged.
| 7 days or more before your event | Full refund of your deposit |
| Between 7 days and 48 hours before | Your deposit is kept, but we'll move it to a new date within 3 months (subject to availability) |
| Less than 48 hours before, or no-show | The full booking price is payable. Your deposit is not refunded and any unpaid balance is still owed |
- To cancel or change a booking, call or email the venue you booked. The time we receive your message is the time your cancellation counts from.
- Changing your date or time with 7 days' notice or more is free, subject to availability.
- Refunds are paid to the bank account or card you paid from, usually within 5 working days.
- There's no refund if you or your guests are refused entry or asked to leave because of age, intoxication, drugs or behaviour (see sections 6, 7 and 9), if you arrive 30 minutes or more late (see section 8), or because of incorrect booking information.
- There's no refund for personal preference about an entertainer's appearance or performance style. If something wasn't right, please tell the manager on the night so we can fix it.
5.Changes by us
Occasionally an entertainer becomes unavailable or something outside our control affects your booking. If that happens we'll contact you as soon as we can and offer a suitable replacement entertainer or a new date. If neither suits you, we'll refund the amount you've paid in full.
6.Entry & age
- iKandi is strictly R18. Every guest must carry valid photo ID (NZ driver licence, passport or Kiwi Access Card).
- As a licensed venue we must refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who is intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or other substances, under 18 or unable to show ID. Management may also refuse entry to anyone at its discretion, including for dress or behaviour.
- The person making the booking is responsible for making sure their group knows these rules.
7.Conduct
Our entertainers are independent contractors and professional performers. To keep the night fun and safe for everyone:
- No touching unless the entertainer invites it. Entertainers set their own boundaries.
- No photos or video of entertainers without their permission.
- Abusive, threatening or aggressive behaviour isn't tolerated. Performances may be stopped and guests removed without a refund.
- Entertainers provide performance entertainment only. Please don't ask for anything else.
- No drugs on the premises or at any booking. Guests who are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or other substances may be refused entry or asked to leave, and the booking may be stopped without a refund.
8.Arrival time & no-shows
- Please arrive on time. Entertainers are booked for a set time and often have other bookings after yours.
- If you or the guest of honour arrive 30 minutes or more after your booked time, we can't guarantee your booking will go ahead. If we can still fit it in, it may be shortened to finish at the original time.
- A late arrival where the booking can't go ahead is treated as a no-show, and the full booking price is payable (see section 4).
- Running late? Call the venue as soon as you can and we'll do our best to help.
9.Safety & our right to stop a booking
The safety of our entertainers, staff, guests and venues comes first. We may stop a performance or booking at any time, or cancel it before it starts, if:
- any of these terms are breached;
- you or any guest is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or other substances;
- an entertainer's safety, or the safety of our staff, guests or venue, is at risk; or
- the location or conditions of the booking are unsafe or not as described.
The decision is made by our manager or the entertainer, and it's final on the night. If a booking is stopped or cancelled for any of these reasons, no refund is given and any unpaid balance is still owed.
10.Entertainment at your venue
If we send an entertainer to your home, venue or accommodation:
- You must have permission from the venue or property owner for adult entertainment. If the venue refuses, the booking is treated as a cancellation on the night.
- Every guest must be 18 or over. Please have a contact person available by phone at the booking time, a safe performance space, and a private room for the entertainer to change.
- Travel fees apply outside Tauranga and Rotorua and are quoted before you book. Any parking costs are added to your booking.
- The entertainer may end the booking early, without a refund, if they feel unsafe or these terms aren't followed (see section 9).
11.Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other law that can't be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of or damage to personal belongings brought to our venues. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your guests.
12.General
